Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) establishes guidelines for acceptable use of VeriCoach's Services. It applies to all users, including coaches, coachees, and administrators. Violation of this Policy may result in account suspension, termination, and legal action.

2. Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload, post, or share any content that:

• Illegal Content: Violates any applicable laws or regulations, including content depicting illegal activities
• Exploitation: Exploits or harms minors in any way, including child abuse material (any such content will be reported to authorities)
• Violence: Threatens, glorifies, or encourages violence or self-harm
• Hate Speech: Discriminates against or promotes hatred toward individuals or groups based on protected characteristics (race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.)
• Harassment & Bullying: Harasses, intimidates, bullies, or threatens another person
• Non-Consensual Content: Shares private or intimate content without consent
• Misinformation: Deliberately spreads false or misleading information that could cause harm
• Spam: Flooding the platform with repetitive, unsolicited messages or promotional content
• Adult Content: Shares sexually explicit or adult material (except relevant coaching discussions between adults)

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in the following behaviors:

3.1 Fraudulent Activity

• Creating fake accounts or profiles
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Using false information to register or verify accounts
• Engaging in payment fraud or chargebacks
• Operating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

3.2 Unauthorized Access

• Attempting to hack or gain unauthorized access to accounts
• Accessing another user's account without permission
• Attempting to bypass security measures
• Using automated tools to scrape or extract data

3.3 Intellectual Property Infringement

• Sharing copyrighted content without permission
• Violating trademark rights
• Plagiarizing coaching content or materials
• Misrepresenting ownership of content

3.4 Commercial Misuse

• Soliciting or recruiting users outside the platform
• Promoting competing services or coaching programs
• Using the platform for purposes other than stated (e.g., MLM schemes)
• Selling user information or data

4. Professional Standards

For Coaches: You agree to maintain professional standards including:

• Accurate representation of qualifications, credentials, and experience
• Maintaining appropriate boundaries with coachees
• Respecting client confidentiality (except as required by law)
• Not providing illegal services or advice
• Disclosing conflicts of interest
• Complying with professional licenses and regulations
• Not engaging in discriminatory practices

For Coachees: You agree to be respectful and professional including:

• Treating coaches with respect and professionalism
• Honoring agreed-upon coaching schedules
• Paying fees promptly and in full
• Not sharing coaching content without permission

5. Platform Security

You agree not to:

• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Attempt to disrupt platform functionality
• Overload servers with excessive requests
• Use bots or automated tools without permission
• Interfere with other users' access to the platform
• Report false or frivolous abuse complaints

6. Privacy and Personal Data

You agree to:

• Protect others' personal information and not share it without consent
• Not solicit personal information for harmful purposes
• Respect privacy settings and boundaries
• Not use information for marketing without consent

7. Enforcement and Consequences

7.1 Monitoring

VeriCoach actively monitors platform usage for violations of this Policy. We use both automated tools and human review to detect and respond to violations. We also respond to user reports of violations.

7.2 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take action including:

• Warning: Written notice of violation
• Content Removal: Deletion of violating content
• Feature Restriction: Temporary suspension of features
• Account Suspension: Temporary restriction from platform access
• Account Termination: Permanent ban and deletion of account
• Legal Action: Prosecution for illegal activities

7.3 Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal by contacting support@vericoach.com with details of your account and the alleged violation. We will review appeals within 14 days and respond with our decision.

8. Reporting Violations

8.1 How to Report

If you encounter a violation of this Policy, please report it by:

• Using the “Report” button on the user's profile or content
• Sending an email to abuse@vericoach.com with details
• Contacting our support team through the platform

8.2 Information to Include

When reporting a violation, please provide:

• Username or account identifier of the violator
• Description of the violation
• Links or screenshots of the violating content
• Timestamp or date of the violation
• Why you believe it violates this Policy

9. Illegal Content and Law Enforcement

Content depicting child exploitation will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement authorities. VeriCoach cooperates fully with legal authorities investigating violations.

Users must immediately cease any illegal activity and contact appropriate authorities.

10. Policy Updates

VeriCoach may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly.
